Fabrication and Level-Of-Development: When to Draw the Line(and Where to Model It) was one of the 12 classes I attended at Autodesk University 2015.

Will Ikerd, PE highlighted four new BIM Level-Of-Development (LOD) topics from the team authoring the BIMFORUM LOD Specifications:

New 2015 LOD Spec Available for download. (see below)
New LOD 350 Specification
Definition of when to specify and recommended use of LOD 350
New Course Certification Program: Certificate of Detailing in BIM (CD-BIM)

Since 2009, the Bradley BIM Initiative has been producing and distributing Bradley plumbing and specialty equipment products; through the Bradley Revit Library. (1,000+ Revit families)

From January 2012 - June 2015 more than 20 million Bradley Revit families were downloaded from the Bradley website.

Bradley BIM uses several Autodesk software tools (Autodesk Revit [Architecture and MEP], AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Seek) to deliver more than 1,000 Revit families; to architects, engineers, contractors and facility owners.
